Maryann Jordan is one of my go to authors. Surviving Love is another book in a line of books that she has written that I love and give 5 stars.Marc and Kendall are a perfect example of opposite attracting. A strong Alpha male who loves the outdoors and flying paired up with a academically smart yet sheltered young woman. This books shows reminds us of hidden reserves of strength. It shows that men can still be strong alphas as they face moments of weakness. Damsels can become heroines who still need to be rescued. Finally you don’t have to be born with a backbone because you can grow one.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. Two of my favorite things about Maryann’s books is that in each series the groups feel like genuine family and are always genuinely happy for each other. With the Saints series I love how she has given a bit of history of the ALPHAS. Great book and would recommend not only this book but all of hers to others.

What can I say about this series, it gets better with every read and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. This story is about Marc and Kendall. They are two totally opposite characters, he is an outdoor guy who loves to hike and camp and she is more comfortable in her lab, where she's a scientist. As the saying goes "opposites attract", when he has to protect her and they are thrust in a situation where they're in the wilderness, she proves she can do more then she actually thought. This was a great story and I loved how their feelings developed and how they both took care of each other. I can't wait to see which Saint finds his true love next.
Another amazing story by Maryann Jordan. I loved it from the second I started reading to the end. I love that Kendall learned how strong she was, and that she got to be the hero! Marc was awesome, patient, and kind, and knew all along that Kendall was stronger than she realized. The story had a great plot, just enough twists to make it exciting with out so many that you lost the point. These characters were a natural couple, and like all of Maryann Jordans books, they didn't push each other away for the sake of it, they didn't fight their love. They rescued each other, and like all of the Saints series, they had help from their friends. I love being able to touch base with the families that have been built in previous books. The only thing that ever makes me sad about finishing Maryann's books is that I have to wait for the next one!
Marc is sent to deliver the scientist. He is surprised when he finds out it is the woman he saw the night before. While flying, the plane goes down. Marc is injured while out trying to find wood. Kendall helps him back to the tent. They then find a cabin to hold up in. They both are attracted to each other and come together. Once they are rescued, can the guys find who is trying to kill her? Will they figure out how to work out a long distance relationship?
I absolutely love this series. The way the men come together to save the women who have come into their family.
I'm a big fan of Maryann Jordan's books and each one in the series just gets better and better. I loved this book!
Marc and Kendall were great together and the mystery in this book had me on the edge of my seat. Each of her books is different which I really love. You're always guessing until the end. The romance aspect is perfect hot enough and not cheesy.
Kendall was such a strong heroine and was much stronger then she thought she could be.
I hate reviews that tell you the entire story so I'll just say that Surviving Love was a perfect title ( emphasis on survival). Definitely shows you don't know what you were capable of until you just need to survive.
Maryann does an amazing job with her character development, it always intrigues me that you feel like you really know them! If you love her books this one is know exception. Enjoy!

I have been waiting in anticipation for Marc's story and the author did not disappoint! Marc Jenkins receives a new assignment to fly Dr Rhodes, a renowned microbiologist, back to the US from Alaska. However due to certain events he ends up with Dr Kendall Rhodes, daughter of Dr Rhodes instead of her father. From the start Marc feels uneasy about the sudden changes to the plan. Shortly after they took off, it becomes apparent that someone does not want them to reach their destination - their plane has been sabotaged and Marc needs to make an emergency landing in the wilderness. While Marc loves the outdoors, Kendall is more comfortable in her lab... however Marc quickly learns that Kendall is stronger than he thinks and she should not be underestimated. Will they survive the harsh elements of Mother Nature and whoever wants them dead?
Although this book forms part of a series it can be read as a standalone and it contains a HEA! I highly recommend this entire series – suspense romance at its best!!
This is the 10th book in the Saints series and I don't see it letting up anytime soon. Sometimes you can see that the series has run its course but I don't believed this is so with the Saints. I love everyone of the men and women featured and I really hope to see many more.
I really like to commend Maryann Jordan for writing strong, fiercely protective but at the same time sweet Alpha male characters. She also has a knack for writing characters that you wouldn't think would fit each other but somewhow they totally worked. This is true for Marc and Kendall. Marc is your outdoors-hiking-survival kind of man while Kendall is a labrat, hiking and camping is so far from her comfort zone. However, throughout the progression of this story, you will see how the table turned, how it was Kendall that had to be the protector, this labrat has blossomed when the going gets rough and Marc had to depend on her.
At the end of the day, the Hero and Heroine prevailed and the bad guys get their just desserts. Another winner for Ms Maryann Jordan.
